FEBRUARY 2009 Lunch Meeting

The weather outside was frightful but inside the lunch was delightful.
Macs Old team held the annual Sweethearts Luncheon on 11 Feb 2009 at The Village China Wok in St Peters. 34 retirees and 19 sweethearts enjoyed a great time of food and fellowship. Al and Ginny Grossmann and Ron Svec attended for the first time. Hope you enjoyed yourselves and will be back often.

The door prizes at this lunch are mostly provided by the ladies and Earl and this year was no exception. Joyce Hill, Kay Kempland, Jeanne Lake, Earl Robb and Linda Steele brought many examples of their beautiful handiwork. Thank you ladies and gent for you hard work and generosity. All in all there were 39 winners, too many to list but see the photos for the smiling faces.

Tom Fletcher is recuperating at home after knee surgery. Roe Snyder is also recuperating at home. We hope to see both of you in the near future.

Our next lunch will be at the Bevo Mill Restuarant on March 11. Special guest speaker will be Mr. Chris Chadwick, President, Boeing Military Aircraft.
