MAC's Old Team
MAY 2009 Lunch Meeting
LUNCH AT OLIVERS RESTAURANT
TOUR THE GREATER ST. LOUIS AIR & SPACE MUSEUM Wednesday May 13, 2009

Posted 5/5/09

Macs Old Team travelled to Cahokia Illinois for the May lunch. Bob Dighton had arranged for the group to tour The Greater St Louis Air & Space Museum on the St Louis Downtown Airport property (think Parks College).
Of course we can't do anything until after eating lunch. That was accomplished at Olivers Restaurant, just around the corner from the museum. This was a wonderful event and we owe Bob a big thank you for arranging the tour.

Ms Rose Church was an honored guest at the lunch and then gave a very entertaining and enlightening talk at the museum. Rose was the nurse assigned to the medical staff that took care of the astronauts on our early space journeys. She had some great stories to tell off her experiences. We thank you, Rose, for joining us.
Jack Abercrombie, Bob Schreiber and Jack E. Down were also in attendance.

The "winners" of the door prizes were: F. Duda, E. Kouba, E. Marquardt, R. Ramberger, B. Vogan, D. Venverloh, and John Wolter.

Next months lunch will be on Wed. 10 June, 11:00AM at Bandanas BBQ located at 3446 Pheasant Meadows Dr., O'Fallon 63368. Smell That Smoke!!
